Card of the Day - Aug 27, 2012

Today's Card of the Day from the Angels of Atlantis Oracle Cards is Raziel : Dreams. I have picked this card three times already since I received it yesterday. And not picked up any other card, how crazy is that!? It's definitely an important message about dreams. Dreams are portals which we enter into when we are asleep. We reach worlds that are familiar, yet a part of us. Sometimes we remember those places, events and people and sometimes we forget, but our subconscious never forgets. Pay attention to those dreams tonight. You may receive some special messages. Archangel Raziel is the angel of dreams and intuition. He helps to connect with your inner spirituality and intuition. Maintain a dream journal to jot down your dreams and try decoding them with dream interpretation, analyzing the symbols one by one.

Fairies

We all have heard of fairies. They have been associated with a number of things, and people think differently about them, based on what they hear. I first started believing in fairies a long time ago, when I was a child. I read a number of Enid Blyton books, and they always had fairies, pixies, elves, gnomes and garden trolls as protagonists. In these stories, often children would be able to have adventures with these pretty creatures while the boring adults would be fast asleep. What fun! I really started feeling that these fairies exist. I am a believer, so I believe in everything. There is no smoke without fire, and I like to believe that there is some amount of truth in everything that someone or the other believes. Anyways, along with Blyton's books there are many fairy-tales that we listened to and read as a child. Stories included fairy godmothers, witches, magic wands, potions and creatures of Never-never Land. To some extent, there has to be some amount of truth to these stories.

About a few years ago, I was introduced to the world of Doreen Virtue's books. She wrote a number of books about spirituality. I remember the first book I was attracted to was called ''Healing with the Fairies''. It was a story about how she saw fairies in her garden and they helped her find her soul mate, Steven Farmer. It is amazing, that in 'real' life we are hearing about fairies being seen in gardens. She says a number of things about fairies in her books. These fairies are found in gardens, in and around plants, trees, greenery and nature. They are fond of gardeners and those who love the environment. If you call upon them, they can help your garden bloom beautifully. Where ever you see mushrooms (which are their houses!) they are sure to be around there somewhere. So who are fairies? They are nature angels who are always ready to help you. In an interview with Doreen Virtue taken from another website www.healyourlife.com, she answers basic questions and myths about fairies.

Q.  Are fairies mischievous pranksters?

A.  Fairies, like all humans and other Earth-dwellers have egos. That means that they don’t automatically love everyone unconditionally as the egoless angels do. Fairies are very loving beings, but they favor people who treat the environment and animals kindly.

Since fairies play tricks on those who mistreat nature or animals, they’ve earned a reputation for mischief. Fairies also love parties, playfulness, dancing, and music. As these behaviors have been frowned upon at various times in our societal and religious history, these beings have also been denigrated.

Q.  Are fairies real, or are they mythical?

A.  Fairies are as real as you and me. They’re as real as angels. Yet, only people who believe, are open-minded, or have a pure heart can sense or see them. Fairies are very shy and sensitive beings who hide from harsh environments or people. So those who are prone to skepticism can’t see or feel the fairies.

Cultures also have an influence on people’s acceptance of the fairies. In the United Kingdom (especially Ireland and Scotland), Australia, Polynesia, and other countries, there’s a widespread belief in fairies and elementals. The countries that treat nature and animals with the most respect also tend to have the highest belief in fairies.

Q.  Where can I find fairies?

A.  Fairies live wherever there are plants or animals. They live near houseplants and pets. However, they’re especially fond of the wilderness. They don’t like pesticides or tightly manicured gardens.

Q.  A psychic told me that she saw fairies around me. What does that mean?

A.  Some people have fairies as spirit guides. Fairies stay with people who have a life purpose involving environmentalism or animals. You can ask the fairies for guidance about how to help the earth. In addition, fairies help us lighten up and be playful.

Q.  Are fairies fallen angels?

A.  God made fairies as the angels of nature. They’re beings of pure, Divine light and love with an important mission of healing and protecting the environment and animals. Like humans, fairies have egos. So they’re not unconditionally loving like the celestial angels. However, fairies are kind and fair.

Q.  Can you trust fairies? Do they ever harm people?

A.  You earn the fairies’ respect by extending kindness toward Mother Nature. Recycling, using Earth-friendly cleaning supplies (available at any health food store), and donating to environmental causes are just a few of the behaviors that fairies look for in their potential human friends. Once you earn the fairies’ respect, they’ll do anything for you.

Fairies don’t harm people, but they can play tricks on those whom they view as cruel toward animals or the environment. Sometimes they play mild practical jokes (like temporarily hiding things) on people they love as a way of being playful.

Q.  Can fairies become human, or vice versa?

A.  Some people who look like fairies, gnomes, leprechauns, mermaids, and pixies are elemental souls who’ve elected to have human lives so that they can help the environment and animals in a big way. Q.  Is it true that fairies or leprechauns can bring you a pot of gold?

A.  Many people report that the elementals help them with finances. While the fairies and leprechauns usually don’t bring literal pots of gold, they do bestow good fortune upon those humans whom they favor. This is one of many reasons to make friends with the fairies.

Fairies always encourage you to have fun, and they often play games at night when no one is watching! They love to sing, dance and party! They love the environment and encourage you to play outdoors and spend more time with flowers and their butterfly and dragonfly companions. Experiences with Exhibiting your Talents, Skeptics and Children

With my Tarot & Angel Cards at the Exhibition

I have been very busy since the last few days, and it is the reason for my absence on this blog. I haven't been able to post my Card of the Day as well. I have been busy with a Tarot stall that I held at an exhibition on April 19th and 20th. It was hectic, and a lot of fun. I thank my mom who stood by my side and helped me along the way. There were many ups and downs. It was HOT and on top of that, the fans would conk off at times. Some people wouldn't know what tarot was and referred to my cards as 'Magic tricks' :-S Some were skeptics, and then again, some were receptive. So all in all, it was an interesting experience to put up a spiritual stall among all other materialistic things like jewelry, clothes and watches. Whoever did a reading with me, were very happy and satisfied, and some skeptics who tried the cards for a lark were pleasantly surprised. I think I made a few of them converters.

Along with Tarot, I also did Angel card readings which as always, are so accurate, specially if you have 'no question' in mind. The Angel cards dig out your deepest secrets and give you guidance without being too intimidating, specially for first-timers and for children. There were so many children attracted to my stall (I guess shopping would bore them!). They asked such interesting questions such as 'Do I have good luck in my life?' and 'What will I be when I grow up?' There was a particular girl who was so curious about my cards, and asked so many questions.

Reading for children

This is an incident I want to share with you. A young girl, of 9 years old came to my stall and the cards said that she would be a doctor when she grew up. From the Goddess Guidance Oracle cards I picked 'Medicine Woman' which made her a healer of medicine. After sometime, her mother came running to me and said, I do not believe in predictions and fortune tellers, but you are the third person who has told me that she will be a doctor. She said, once she was crossing the road and an old man came up to her and told her that he was a face reader and that her daughter would become a doctor. After a few years, she met a man who looked at her daughter's palms and said that she would be a doctor. So, she was so pleasantly surprised when I told her the same thing. God bless the young angel! And may she become the best doctor in the world.

Lessons Learnt:

1. Never be skeptical - I was unsure of putting up this stall as most of the people there were not into Tarot. Go against the tide, and believe that you can bring about a change in people's attitude. Just because people are skeptical about you, doesn't mean to start to doubt yourself. Try and you can change them or get them to see your point of view.

2. Children are angels - This experience reiterated this fact to me. More than the adults, children were drawn to my stall like moths to a flame. I also did a few free readings for them. :-)

3. Word of mouth - That is the best form of publicity. Spread the word, to whoever you can about your business. Do not underestimate or think that your clientele is only a particular section of the society.

4. Meeting new people - This always happens when you do something new, you meet new people. It is always better to experiment and go outside than sit at home. I also made a new friend, who had a stall besides me. She had a kurti stall but has also done a course in graphology. She read my hand writing and was very good!


5.  Encouragement - I got a lot of positive feedback about my readings which was very encouraging and has increased my confidence in myself and my reading abilities.Do not be afraid to try anything new, you will only grow as a person and learn new things.

6. Only see the positive, not the negative - Learn to grasp only the positive and ignore the negative aspects. If you keep thinking about the negative aspects, you will never move forward. You will stay stagnant and be where you are.

The Leap Year Spread

This year 2012 is a Leap Year!! This means that this year will have a Feb 29th, which comes one in every four years. This has to mean something, right? An extra day? But what does this day signify? What is its importance? Did you know that in the British Isles there is a tradition that women can only propose to men in a leap year? LOL..I'm sure that there are many such traditions and many more crazy things that people do on a Leap year. Feb 29 is also supposed to be Superman's birthday!

 I think that the Tarot can be used to form a personal benchmark for you to measure your progress in your life, specially your goals. For this, I have devised a Leap Year spread. I would like to do this spread once in every 4 years to check where I am and where I will be in the next four years from the year 2012 to 2015.
For this spread I will be using two decks, a tarot deck and an angel oracle deck: The Legacy of the Divine Tarot and the Archangels Oracle cards deck.

Where I am in 2012

For this year i got the Ace of Wands card. This card stands for new beginnings which is true as I start my PhD this year and it is supposed to be completed in 4-5 years. What a great leap year for me! A wonderful new beginning is in store characterized by the fiery dragon-y passion. The wand in the card is studded with different coloured crystals which I think means that I will be looking at things from a different point of view. The Angel card I got is Spiritual understanding. This is also a year where I deepen my Spiritual beliefs and learn more about esoteric wisdom and gain more knowledge about my spiritual practices. I could also learn a new practice or go deeper into what I am currently doing. The path of spirituality is intriguing. There is so much to explore. I can't wait!

Where I am in 2013

Money, honey! This year I got the 6 of Pentacles. This year I will be raking in the moolah as the card says. I will be receicing money for my hard work. This looks like the monthly amount I will be receiving due to my PhD scholarship. Its great to know that its going to be coming the next year too. Also, this could mean there is an increase in my Tarot clientele or a new business. There is a 'Hello from Heaven' card I see as well next year. I will be remembered by some of my lost family and friends in heaven. I love getting messages in my dreams from the beyond. Lately, I have been getting some pretty profound dreams, and hope they continue helping me and giving me good advice.

Where I am in 2014

The card for this year is the Page of Wands. He is generally a young person who is into communication. That will be me in the year 2014.I will be head on into my thesis writing every single day with a wand, umm pen in my hand, a tool of communication. The Page looks focused, serious, and he knows what he wants and what to write. I feel so inspired that I will be able to really write well that year. Yay.. The other card that has come up is Leadership. I will learn to be in control and will assume my role of a leader. I will be in the position to lead a group of people. Circumstances could lead me to do that. Lets see what the future holds....

Where I am in 2015

This is a great card.. the Magician! Along with the wand of the Page last year, this year I also have the Cup, Sword and Pentacle to help me. Along with my mighty tools I will be able to weave my magic. This year I will be sure of my talents and my abilities. The Magician is usually capable of accomplishing anything he puts his mind to. This year I will be highly focused and accomplish my goals. I think this could indicate that my Phd is getting completed and that I am nearing my deadline. The other card compliments this card, it says 'Outdoors'. These days, I will probably be cooped up in my house and in the library. I will need to go outside for some fresh air in order to get more creative ideas.

Where I am in Leap Year 2016

Well, we are finally here, the Leap year 2016! The card I received is the Emperor. What an apt card, it is the Number 4 card of the Major Arcana trumps! All is now four-square. Emperor is the card of stability and authority. This could suggest that I will be in a position of authority and will probably be in a position of leadership. The Angel card says 'Divine Order'. Everything is going on smoothly in divine timing. Amidst the chaos there is underlying order.

The Leap Year Card: What lessons have I learnt in these 4 years?

The card I received for the lesson that I have learnt during leap year 2012 to leap year 2016 is the 9 of Pentacles. What a beautiful card! I love her. She looks so happy and contented doing what she loves. She is financially secure as well as happily strolling in her garden with the birds and the bees. She has no worries as she is content with her life. The lesson I feel that I have learnt in these 4 years will be to be independent, just like the woman in the card. She is matured, as I will hopefully be in the next four years LOL and self-secured. She looks like a woman of substance who is well settled and happy to be where she is.

I completely enjoyed doing this spread. It has given me a lot to think about and a lot to look forward to! I will save this page and look back at it after 4 years to check on it, and if I have truly understood the meanings of the various lessons learnt on the way. I suggest you try this Leap Year Spread. Mediumship

On the next day of the terrible blasts hitting the city of Mumbai drew a very interesting and encouraging card for all of us. I intuitively picked up the Angel Therapy oracle cards deck assuming that we all need some form of therapy after hearing stories of the blasts. The atmosphere is definitely saddening and we know we have to move on with our lives, but yet we can not help but feel sad and also guilty about being alive, when so many others are dead or are in pain at this moment. The Card which I drew today is Medium ship. Medium ship is the ability to communicate and speak with the dead - this is a natural ability which we all share. They do want to communicate with us, and we need not be afraid because they just want to bless us or tell us that they are happy and okay. This is reassuring to us as they are happy and not in pain when they have departed to the higher realms. So we need not feel guilty, as they will always be connected to us. 

Mediumship is very simple. You need to trust your feelings, thoughts and visions because they are REAL. This is healing for us as they can send us peaceful messages. You could hear or feel "I love you" or "I'm fine" or "I'm proud of you" or "I'm sorry" and other such compassionate words. Medium ship is a noble mission that can help thousands of people. The angels support and guide you along the way. 

In a quiet room, where you won't be disturbed, have a conversation with a departed loved one using a pen and paper. Call upon Archangel Michael to oversee this as he is the angel of protection. Next, write to your loved one and write what ever thoughts, feelings or visions appear to you. At times it may feel like you don't understand what you're writing. Let it go. After you're done, read what you have written. It will be a beautiful answer for you. We could all do this exercise today and try and connect to the people who have passed away in the blasts. We could give them reassurance that everyone is praying for them and deeply regret whatever has happened. We could tell them to be peaceful and not angry about what has happened. Send them lots of love and positive healing energy.

Angels in my house!

I had kept angels in my house for 5 days. It was a wonderful experience for me. I constantly felt protected and that someone was always with me. My dowsing pendulum told me that angels were nearby and sitting right besides me! They left today, and went to 5 of my friends and I'm sure they will be blessed with their arrival. Before leaving, I asked the angels if they have any message for me. I intuitively drew 4 cards out of my Archangel oracle card deck and got all 4 different angels! Archangel Raziel, Chamuel, Ariel and Michael.

I got the following messages:


"I am bringing you esoteric information and symbols and helping you understand spiritual truths."
Since I have kept the angels, I have been getting great dreams where I am visiting different places, I feel wiser when I wake up!

"Be clear about what you desire and focus upon it with unwavering faith"
I desire what I have written as my 3 wishes! Hope they come true, angels.

"Peace comes from knowing that only love is real"
I keep getting this card very often. I really don't understand what it means and in what context. Maybe I need to be more peaceful as I get hyper in situations. If I'm loving, then I don't need to worry as everything will work out.

"Your material needs are provided as you follow your intuition and manifest your dreams into reality"
My intuition has been telling me many things, mainly to increase my knowledge and learn many things. I want to learn more about crystals, reiki and other forms of healing. Since everything costs money, its great that my material needs will be fulfilled.
