Card of the Day - September 30, 2011

Continuing from the Goddess Tarot deck by Kris Waldherr, today's Card of the Day is The Sun symbolized by the Zorya Goddesses. In Slavic mythology, the Zorya are a trinity of sister goddesses who attend to the sun god, whose chariot rides through the sky everyday bringing light and warmth. The sun represents the brilliance of life - the intellect, the inspiration of creativity. It is the light that nourishes all living beings. The Zorya are the guardians of the universe. They watch over a fierce hound with a chained leash. Legend says that if the chain breaks, the end of the world will be at hand.

Today you will be filled with a lot of positive Goddess energy. You will be inspired to create something new. You will spend more time with children. Your love life will improve. You could decide to create something which has a personal agenda rather than a material or practical one. You will receive wise advice from the women in your family.
