Just like the tortoise, we carry our home wherever we go. There is no need to hurry, no need to seek shelter anywhere. It is a time to let go of any expectations you have had about yourself or other people, and take responsibility for any illusions you might have been carrying. There is no need to do anything else but rest right now. If desires, hopes and dreams are fading away, let them disappear as they will make way for a new stillness and acceptance. Develop this quality of the tortoise of slowing down, of coming to rest and recognizing that you are already at home. The best way is through meditation which is a kind of medicine which will make you alert, joyful, centered, loving, flowing and calm.
